Look Up a Charge Code
When you add a new line to your timesheet, you need to enter codes that identify the projects, tasks, and so on, to which you are charging your time. Instead of entering these codes manually, you can look up valid codes that your system administrator has already set up.
To perform a lookup, complete the following steps:
- Open a new timesheet or a timesheet that is already in progress.
- Click in the cell where you want to perform the lookup.
-
Click
to display the lookup dialog box.
The dialog box that displays depends on the type of code (project number, account number, and so on) that you are looking up and how your company has configured timesheets. It also depends on whether you are looking for the primary code that identifies the charge (UDT01 or UDT02) or another code
- If UDT02 and UDT01 are not linked, UDT01 is the primary charge field.
- If UDT02 and UDT01 are linked, UDT02 is the primary charge field.
-
Follow the appropriate steps for the dialog box that you see:
-
